Summer Mission Trips
Three different groups have traveled (or will very soon) to Trujillo this summer to work with the school and the local churches. The groups travel from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Georgia. These groups consist of Christians from age 6 to over 60, all of whom have a desire to experience the joy of sharing Christ’s love with the people of Honduras. Most of these individuals use their own money to finance their travel, and many give up their summer vacation time to do this work. Our thanks go out to all of the brothers and sisters who have gone in the past and who have gone this year. May God bless you for your service and dedication.
Here is a sampling of the projects that the groups accomplished this year:
· Set up Bible studies with individuals in the community.
· Taught classes on leadership for the evangelists and other leaders in the local churches.
· Taught classes on strengthening the family.
· Taught Bible classes at the school.
· 700 patients were seen in the medical clinic.
· 250 patients visited the dental clinic.
· Purchased and installed ceiling fans for the school and two of the churches.
· Purchased plastic chairs for one of the churches, so their elderly members can sit more comfortably during worship.
· Constructed walls of concrete block in one of the classroom buildings, which previously only had thin plywood to separate classrooms.
· Built a shower and drain for the school caretaker.
· Conducted a two-day Vacation Bible School.

Trujillo Christian School has 315 students enrolled this year! We are very excited about the number of children and families we are able to reach in Trujillo. Please pray that the school and faculty will continue to make a positive impact on the community. Thanks to you, every student has a sponsor.
