All know that the first of our mission teams traveling to Trujillo have safely arrived. The deacon at West Metro Church of Christ that oversees our ministry there is also in Honduras. Thad Bartlett and his family, Rachel, MaryKyle, and John Mark, are spending five weeks of their summer in Trujillo. In an effort to keep our sponsors and their family and friends up to date about the things happening at the school, they have set up a blog for our reading enjoyment! Here are her comments: "Cole and I had a wonderful trip - 12 days away from Ricky and the other 2 boys was difficult, to say the least, so it was great to get back home on Tuesday. A little about the pictures...the first several are of our accommodations in La Ceiba and the Hotel Villa Brinkley in Trujillo. Then pictures of the work projects at Trujillo Christian School, some of the beautiful children at the school, VBS prep with teachers and members of local congregations, and VBS. Some other pictures are just downright silly - I could try to explain the significance of them, but they still wouldn't make sense. I won't even try!! Trujillo is a beautiful (BEAUTIFUL!) place with even more beautiful, gracious, and loving people. I can't wait to return. "
