| 1 – 2 Year Look-Ahead |
| 1. Computers |
Modern computers, with up-to-date software, for the students. |
| 2. Wall |
The wall around the school needs to be completed. This has been one of Emilson’s priorities for some time. It is needed for the safety of the children. This is a work project for the groups that visit during the summer. |
| 3. Multi-purpose building |
A new roof is needed on the multi-purpose building. This is a work project for the groups that visit during the summer. |
| 4. 2nd grade class room |
A new roof and some carpentry repair is needed on this class room. This is a work project for the groups that visit during the summer. |
| 5. Desks |
New desks for the students. |
| 6. School bus |
Currently the students have to provide their own transportation and thus limits the students who can apply because the majority of families in this demographic do not have a car. Most of the students must live within walking distance, though a few families can afford to hire a taxi. A bus would allow us a little more range, maybe even Guadaloupe Carne. |

| 2 – 3 Year Look-Ahead |
| 1. Add Grades |
Continue to add grade levels each year until the school graduates students to the university level. |
| 2. New classroom |
Build a new classroom to house 8th and 9th grades |
| 3. Kindergarten |
Add another kindergarten class. This is a huge age group in this area. It is also a critical age to reach to begin instilling the Gospel and breaking the poverty cycle. |
| 4. Vocational classes |
Provide vocational equipment and classes for the students. This will be important in preparing students whom will not have the opportunity to go to university to have a productive career and make a nice living. |
| 5. Adult Literacy |
The literacy rate among this demographic is low and is one of the inhibiting factors to teaching the Bible, reaching the children, and overcoming poverty. I believe it would be of benefit to all three of these goals to teach these adults reading and writing (in Spanish, they have little use of English in this socio-economic group), basic math, and basic home finance. We should also attach a condition that while participating in this free opportunity, they will be required to attend Bible class as well. While showing we care about their physical plight, we can instill the gospel, as did Jesus. |

| 5+ Year Look-Ahead |
| 1. Adult Vocational Training |
More advanced classes than the Adult Literacy classes could train people how to build an income and support their family. Classes such as auto repair, construction, plumbing, masonry, electrical, computers, English, etc. We should also attach a condition that while participating in this free opportunity, they will be required to attend Bible class as well. |
| 2. Domestic Training |
Classes and counseling could be provided at the school to help families and individuals overcome alcohol and drug use, as well as marriage and domestic violence counseling. A little more thought would need to be put into this, but it is logical to think that Hondurans would struggle with this just as our, or any other, culture. These classes would have to be sensitive to the Honduran culture. |
| 3. A preacher school |
Self explanatory. |
